Masterson’s Pub , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I discovered behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Abandoned
From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. Going through other patrons’ reviews and conversing with residents , it seems that the level of hygiene (or lack thereof) check over here at Masterson’s is a long-standing issue . Many patrons have reported seeing bugs darting across the drink station and signs of rats in the basement . advice For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the quality of the food and drinks .

As I looked into it more , I was stunned to find numerous complaints against him involving sexual harassment , with multiple women accusing him of sending unsolicited explicit content . Described as excessively forward and disrespectful , Peter Cornwell’s behavior has created an unsafe environment for women who attend Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often felt more like that of a lurking threat than a welcoming host .
The Role of the Staff : Involved or Weak?
Pete’s wife, Mrs. McKenzie , is a co-operator and frequently seen managing operations . Rather than addressing the issue to curb the damage done by her husband’s actions, she seems to accept his behavior.
